Martin Scorsese produced a Seven-episode mini-series on the blues for PBS in 2003 simply called THE BLUES, which included Corey Harris, Taj Mahal, Othar Turner, Ali Farka Touré, and even Clint Eastwood.

It’s no wonder why Albert King had a major hit with 1967’s “Born Under a Bad Sign.” His backing band was Booker T and the MGs and The Memphis Horns.
