Humble Pie curiously credited blueswoman Ida Cox as the songwriter on the track “Four Day Creep”, despite Cox’s original ‘version’ sharing no lyrics, melody or resemblance to Pie’s song.

The band REO Speedwagon was named after a 1915-era truck called the REO Speed Wagon. The truck pronounced it like a word “reeoh”, while the band spelled it out.
