The creator of The Grateful Dead’s famed “WALL OF SOUND” was an accomplished chemist who was originally the band’s LSD dealer.

The Missouri–Kansas–Texas Railroad, known as the MKT or “Katy,” was a major Midwestern rail line that helped move freight, passengers, and culture across the region for nearly a century. Eventually, the railroad was turned into hundreds of miles of walking trails, started by a program in Columbia, Missouri. This design nods to that history, celebrating the bold signage and industrial spirit of a railroad that helped shape towns, trade, and travel throughout America's heartland.
