Description
This official Big Brother and the Holding Company Racerback Tank Top is available in several colors and sizes up to 2XL. The tank top is a premium fabric-laundered 4.2oz triblend 50/25/25 polyester/combed ringspun cotton/rayon racerback tee.

Big Brother and the Holding Company's psychedelic rock n roll would perfectly fit the raucous era from which they formed. During the height of the counter-culture hippie movement in 1965 San Fransisco, BBHC was made up of jazz drummer David Getz, Guitarists Peter Album, Sam Andrew, James Gurley, and then-unknown Janis Joplin. 

Big Brother followed a huge performance at 1967's Monterey Pop Festival with their major label debut of 1968's album Cheap Thrills. 

The LP shot up the Billboard charts to #1, offering the Summer of Love now classic songs like "Piece of My Heart" and bluesy Big Mama Thornton cover "Ball and Chain".
