While at the Fillmore Theatre in the mid-1960s, someone baked Jerry Garcia a birthday cake, and while enjoying it, one of the bakers noted, ‘Yeah, we put about 800 hits of acid in that frosting’.

Blues guitarist Muddy Waters claimed he was born in Rolling Fork, Mississippi in 1915. Scarce records have mad the actual circumstances of his birth unclear.
