Five years before his first recording with Chess, Muddy Waters recorded a number of songs for OKeh records — that weren’t released until 35 years later in 1981.

Techno music owes its existence in part to Jazz music, when the members of Kraftwerk were inspired to create a band after attending the Berlin Jazz Festival and witnessing Fela Kuti and Frank Zappa.
