Description
This is a Bluescentric Brand official Monterey Pop Festival hoodie, printed on quality Hanes 90% cotton, 10% poly high-density cotton jersey-lined pullover with dye-matched drawstring. Sizes are available in Small-3XL and run true.

It was the hottest ticket of 1967 -- June 16, 17 and 18 at the Monterey County Fairgrounds featured performances by Janis Joplin, Otis Redding, The Grateful Dead, The Butterfield Blues Band, Booker T and the MGs, and The Who's first-ever U.S. performance, where Pete Townshend smashed his guitar in a famous finalé.

It was also Jimi Hendrix's U.S. debut, so not to be outdone, he set fire to his own guitar "as a sacrifice".

MPOP would be the blueprint for nearly all music festivals that came after, including Woodstock two years later.
