Meanwhile Dan Aykroyd, while working on SNL, rented an underground blues bar close to the studio to play music with the cast & crew after-hours. Soon enough, the duo made their bluesy black suit-and tie debut on Saturday Night Live, performing Slim Harpo’s “I’m A King Bee” in 1976. The rest was history. The Blues Brothers released their #1 hit debut Briefcase Full of Blues in 1978. But in 1980, The Blues Brothers ascended to a household name with a huge hit movie featuring cameos from Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, John Lee Hooker, Cab Calloway, and James Brown. A massive tour followed, with a multi-day finale at the Universal Amphitheater in Los Angeles. Blues Brothers Apparel is available in a variety of men's, women's and children's styles and colors. Sizes are available up to 5XL and 3XLT. They'll never get caught. They're on a mission from God.
