About Bluescentric
Our music and band merchandise online store draws inspiration from the unique fellowship of live music & the American musical journey to bring you only the best music merch that we wear & love ourselves.
Bluescentric's origins came after the 2007 Roots n Blues festival, where Taj Mahal played songs about wayward women catching the old Katy train just yards from the historic Katy Train Station in Columbia, Missouri. Matt Marshall, a young computer programmer & music fan from the front row, soon discovered there were virtually no modern online resources for people passionate about roots, rock n roll, blues & soul.
So by 2008, Matt wrote the first Bluescentric.com music merchandise online store from scratch, manufacturing every piece of merchandise by hand & connecting with like-minded music lovers one at a time.
Noticing that there was no merchandise properly representing many of Matt's musical heroes, among them Howiln' Wolf, Bo Diddley & Muddy Waters, Bluescentric began working directly with the artist's estates to create fun t-shirts & merchandise that fans would love.
In this way, the artist's estates & their non-profit organizations are paid directly for every piece of Bluescentric's officially licensed merchandise -- helping contribute to continuing artists' musical legacy & letting fans express their passions.
Over a decade later, Bluescentric's full-scale production facility serves tens of thousands of customers annually representing nearly every country in the world.
The awesome music-loving staff at the Bluescentric band merch online store makes most merchandise in-house to meet rigid quality standards, and when it's not too busy, we still hand-sign our orders to connect with our music-loving brothers, sisters & fans worldwide.
80-90% of Bluescentric's production staff is individuals with special needs. Thank you for supporting safe, quality jobs for people of great character.
Because we care about the music, we work directly with artist estates. Because we care about our customers, real humans are available by phone & email, so when you need something, you can talk directly with us. Because we want to keep the impact on the stage not the landfill, 95% of all paper used at Bluescentric is recycled. The packaging we ship your order in is recyclable too (hint hint!)
Bluescentric music merchandise online store ships worldwide, by way of ol’ Missouri.
