Monterey Pop Festival Ticket Youth T-Shirt - Lightweight Vintage Children & Toddlers 

This is a Bluescentric Brand official Monterey Pop Festival children and toddler's t-shirt, available in premium lightweight 4.2oz Toddler sizes T2-T5 and Youth Small through XL. Solid colors are 100% airlume combed and ringspun cotton. Athletic Heather is 90% cotton.  

It was the hottest ticket of 1967 -- June 16, 17 and 18 at the Monterey County Fairgrounds featured performances by Janis Joplin, Otis Redding, The Grateful Dead, The Butterfield Blues Band, Booker T and the MGs, and The Who's first-ever U.S. performance, where Pete Townshend smashed his guitar in a famous finalé.

It was also Jimi Hendrix's U.S. debut, so not to be outdone, he set fire to his own guitar "as a sacrifice".

MPOP would be the blueprint for nearly all music festivals that came after, including Woodstock two years later. 

This design is drawn from an original 1967 Monterey Pop day-two front stage ticket. The text reads Monterey International Pop Music Festival, June 17th, 19967 and the location, Monterey County Fairgrounds.
