In 1978, Alligator Records released Albert Collins' sixth studio album, Ice Pickin' -- a masterpiece of Chicago blues guitar as only Albert Collins could achieve.

Ice Pickin' was a play on Collins' nickname, "The Ice Man" -- for his trademark punchy sound on a Fender Telecaster. In fact, Albert Collins as also known as The Telecaster Master!
