The Rolling Stones had a hit with their 1969 cover of Robert Johnson’s “Love In Vain”, which was presumably in public domain. 26 years later in 1995, the executor of Johnson’s estate sued The Stones and the publisher ABKCO for infringement Johnson’s copyright, and won.

This official Mississippi Blues Trail shirt features a real photo of the Albert King Blues Trail Marker, framed in the state of Mississippi, with the Mississippi Blues Logo at the top. The marker is located in Indianola, Mississippi, near the site of King’s early life, and honors the influential blues guitarist and singer. The marker was added to the Mississippi Blues Trail in 2008.
