Steve Cropper was only 20 when he laid down the iconic riff on Booker T. & the MGs’ massive hit song “Green Onions” — becoming one of soul’s most influential guitarists as a member of the Stax Records house band.

This is an embroidered Bluebird Records hat. Established in 1932, Bluebird Records was notable for recording Chicago Blues musicians. Notable blues musicians made up Bluebird's house band, which backed many records, including Big Bill Broonzy, Roosevelt Sykes, Washboard Sam, and Sonny Boy Williamson. Bluebird eventually folded after World War II, leaving a legacy of capturing extraordinary music from the 1930s and 1940s.
