The origin of Woody Guthrie’s famous “This machine kills fascists” painted on his guitar originated from stockers that American machinists affixed to metalworking lathes and drill presses in support of the war effort.

Some of the oldest & most well-known New Orleans street names feature charming embedded tiles at the intersections, one of a million artistic little details the Crescent City is famous for.
