“It had started raining and I had to close the show. Janis was screaming. When she took off her shoes I thought, Oh Lord. And when she started leaping up and down I thought, Look at this woman. And you know, she could scream too. I thought, Oh my God. She stopped the whole thing. Got three standing ovations. She was very dangerous, that girl.” – Little Richard on Janis Joplin

Cobra Records captured some of the hottest Chicago Blues of the 1950s, releasing music from Magic Sam, Otis Rush and even a young Buddy Guy, who'd just moved to town. Cobra lasted until the suspicious death of it's owner in 1959.

This Cobra Records T Shirt design was printed using an actual Cobra vinyl record for maximum authenticity.

Bluescentric hoodies are printed on quality Hanes 90% cotton, 10% poly high-density cotton jersey-lined pullover with dye-matched drawstring. Light Steel is 85% cotton. Sizes run true.
