According to Miles Davis, on a cross-country road trip with Charlie Mingus and Max Roach, Mingus declares he’d rather crash a car than hit an animal that ran in front of him — which was swiftly tested on that same trip when Mingus drove Max’s car into a fire hydrant to avoid a dog.

Cobra Records captured some of the hottest Chicago Blues of the 1950s, releasing music from Magic Sam, Otis Rush and even a young Buddy Guy, who'd just moved to town. Cobra lasted until the suspicious death of it's owner in 1959.

This Cobra Records T Shirt design was printed using an actual Cobra vinyl record for maximum authenticity.
