Thanks to his legendary musical performances, the father of the blues, Charley Patton, famously owned a new car in the 1930s Mississippi Delta, an extreme rarity which helped inspire a younger generation of black men who idolized Patton to also become performers — including Howlin’ Wolf, Son House, Robert Johnson, Willie Brown, Pops Staples, Tommy Johnson, Honeyboy Edwards & many others…

The Bluescentric Brand Cobra Records Racerback Tank is available in comfortable, relaxed-fit women's sizes up to 2XL. The material is premium fabric-laundered 4.2oz triblend 50/25/25 polyester/combed ringspun cotton/rayon with a racer back.

Founded in 1956 in Chicago, Illinois, Cobra Records captured a slice of the golden era of blues, releasing tracks from Otis Rush, Sunnyland Slim, Magic Sam and even an early Buddy Guy track. The label folded after the founder was discovered dead at the bottom of Lake Michigan under mysterious circumstances.
