“I’m pleased to include Dockery Plantation on the Mississippi Blues Trail. Apart from the town’s unique historical legacy, which includes printing its own money, Dockery was home to famed bluesman Charley Patton and played a significant role in the development of the Delta blues” – Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour

This Bluescentric Brand ladies blues music t-shirt is available in relaxed fit sizes up to 2XL. The material is a 4.2 oz 100% airlume combed and ringspun cotton with side seams. Heather colors are 52/48, Athletic Heather is 90/10, Heather Prism colors are 99/1.

This t-shirt design features a photo of blues guitar great Blind Willie McTell with a twelve string guitar in a hotel room in Atlanta, Georgia.

Taken in November of 1940, McTell would have been 42 years old. Interestingly, the photo was taken by Ruby Lomax, the wife of great musicologist Alan Lomax. The photo now resides in the Library of Congress for posterity.

Blurry and dramatic, posing with an unusual guitar and obscured face, McTell fittingly resembles a ghost in this photo.

To accentuate this, the photo has been sepia toned, and the light version of the shirt design prints only the black from the photo, while the dark prints only the light. The text in the bottom says "Blind Willie McTell."
