Roy Harper, the guy name-dropped in Led Zeppelin’s blues-soaked “Hats Off To (Roy Harper)” from III is the same guy who sang vocals on Pink Floyd’s deeply cynical hit song “Have A Cigar”.

John Lee Hooker - "Boom Boom". Following his late-career resurgence with 1989's The Healer, John Lee Hooker stepped into Russian Hill Recording in San Francisco and the Record Plant in Sausalito to reimagine some of his most iconic songs, including "Boom Boom," which lends this album it's title. A star-studded lineup of contemporary blues greats joined the sessions, including Charlie Musselwhite, Jimmie Vaughan, Robert Cray, and Albert Collins.
