Junior Wells earned the title of blues legend through his pioneering blues harmonica sound and his mastery of songwriting. Born in Memphis in 1934, Wells learned harmonica from Sonny Boy Williamson before moving to Chicago in 1948. Wells' album Hoodoo Man Blues, with Buddy Guy playing guitar through a Leslie Amp Cabinet, became one of the all-time blues greats.
