This Bluescentric Brand Kansas City t-shirt is available in premium lightweight 4.2oz vintage style sizes up to 4XL. Solid colors are 100% combed, ringspun cotton. Athletic Heather is 90% cotton. All other Heather colors are 52% cotton, 48% poly. Sizes run true. These t shirts are lighter and slightly more fitted compared to the Classic Gildan tees.
This ornate, noir-style "Kansas City" Missouri logo is derived from the key of a beautiful 1915 map of the city.
That time was the beginning of the "Boss" Tom Pendergast era, when Kansas City flourished as an "everything goes" town. With the looming threat of prohibition, taps flowed and patrons could pick any poison they desired to the jumping sounds of big-band Jazz that played all night, all across the city.
