WELCOME TO THE NEW BLUESCENTRIC WEBSITE!

The same artist who made the iconic Grateful dead skeleton with roses, Stanley Mouse, also made the famous scarab beetle from Journey’s Esc4p3 album.

This extra comfortable Bluescentric Brand sweatshirt is 8.5oz 80/20 cotton/polyester blend, with 100% cotton face (20 singles face yarn). It features a 1x1 ribbing at collar, cuffs and waistband, a tear-away label, and split stitch double needle sewing on all seams. The fit is very standard.

KEEP THE BLUES ALIVE! This is a very special, limited edition collaboration with The Blues Foundation, uniquely featuring early blues music stars and legends! Every piece sold from this limited edition series benefits the Blues Hall of Fame in Memphis, Tennessee.

This design features the great Blind Willie Johnson, gospel blues singer and slide guitarist. His stunning, gravelly voice and haunting bottleneck guitar work made Johnson a legend. His eerie recording “Dark Was the Night, Cold Was the Ground” was included on the Voyager Golden Record, carrying his music into space as a representation of humanity.

The Blues Foundation's steadfast mission is to preserve blues heritage, celebrate blues recording and performance, expand worldwide awareness of the blues & ensures the future of this uniquely American art form.
