WELCOME TO THE NEW BLUESCENTRIC WEBSITE!

Both albums, “King Curtis Live At Fillmore West” and “Aretha Franklin Live At Fillmore West” were recorded on the same dates, March 5th, 6th and 7th, 1971 with the same backing band — King Curtis’ The Kingpins and The Memphis Horns.

This extra comfortable Bluescentric Brand sweatshirt is 8.5oz 80/20 cotton/polyester blend, with 100% cotton face (20 singles face yarn). It features a 1x1 ribbing at collar, cuffs and waistband, a tear-away label, and split stitch double needle sewing on all seams. The fit is very standard.

"KEEP THE BLUES ALIVE! This is a very special, limited edition collaboration with The Blues Foundation, uniquely featuring early blues music stars and legends! Every piece sold from this limited edition series benefits the Blues Hall of Fame in Memphis, Tennessee.

This design features Blind Willie McTell, the Georgia-born blues musician renowned for his mastery of the twelve-string guitar and that punchy ""Piedmont Blues"" style. McTell's life was difficult, and he never gained notoriety until after his lifetime, but his spirit captivated artists like Bob Dylan and The Allman Brothers Band.

Noone could play the blues like Blind Willie McTell
- Bob Dylan

The Blues Foundation's steadfast mission is to preserve blues heritage, celebrate blues recording and performance, expand worldwide awareness of the blues & ensures the future of this uniquely American art form."
