In Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here” album art, the same model who is diving with no splash into California’s Mono Lake is also the invisible, unnamed Floyd Salesman on the back cover.

This plucky little New York City record label popped up in 1916, selling 78 rpm records aimed at giving listeners better value for their buck, hence the slogan "Gold in quality, Silver in price". But with the recording industry being brutally competitive and majors controlling the top artists and distribution, Majestic couldn't compete and ultimately had to fold.
