“Anybody wants to believe all this crap they hear about me, it’s their problem, not mine. Because, look, man, I like people. I love people! I’m not going around telling everybody that. I try to say that my way — with my horn.” – Miles Davis

The Missouri–Kansas–Texas Railroad, known as the MKT or “Katy,” was a major Midwestern rail line that helped move freight, passengers, and culture across the region for nearly a century. Eventually, the railroad was turned into hundreds of miles of walking trails, started by a program in Columbia, Missouri. This design nods to that history, celebrating the bold signage and industrial spirit of a railroad that helped shape towns, trade, and travel throughout America's heartland.
