Several tracks on Miles Davis’ masterpiece “Sketches of Spain” were inspired by musicologist Alan Lomax’s field recordings in Galicia and Andalusia, Spain.

While it should need little introduction, Ace of Spades was a truly legendary, game-changing slice of hard rock perfection. Igniting generations of music fans with it's speaker destroying riffs, ear-shredding volume and indomitable speed and style, it was a record that pushed boundaries and changed the musical landscape forever. Amped up to 11, nothing was harder, nothing was faster, and certainly nothing was louder.
