Smith’s music was so wildly successful, she opened the door for more black musicians, and single-handedly ushered in the era of the classic women blues singers.

A retro Missouri Route 66 shirt celebrating one of the most iconic stretches of the Mother Road. Route 66 runs from Chicago to Santa Monica, cutting across eight states, and Missouri holds some of its most famous miles. The highway rolls straight past the Gateway Arch in St. Louis and through small towns, diners and roadside spots that helped define the classic American road trip. This tee highlights Missouri’s place in that history and is perfect for anyone who loves travel, nostalgia and the open road.
