The 23 children who sang the choir on Pink Floyd’s “Another Brick in the Wall” were given records & concert tickets for their effort, but didn’t have any royalty agreement. 25 years later, following a change in the UK royalty law, the choir claimed their royalties.

Slugs in the Far East was a jazz establishment, located in Manhattan’s East Village. The clubat became legendary in the 1960s and early 70s for its raw atmosphere and perfect breeding ground for experimental jazz music from legends like Sun Ra, Ornette Coleman and Lee Morgan -- who was killed at the venue in 1972.
