2nd label mono variant pressings (Scranton) have 'ASCAP' after every title except "I Want To Hold Your Hand" (BMI). Black label with colorband. Issued with the first variation jackets with 'Beatles' on cover in tan to brown print. No producer credit on back cover.

The number 3 appears bottom right of back cover indicating, Modern Album of Long Island, NY as printer of jacket.
