The Bad Company logo used in this design is the original graphic, designed by famous art outfit Hipgnosis. "Company" was abbreviated to "Co" to make for a bolder design, and the 'distress' in the logo is actually "thumbprints set within the spaces, smacking of the n'er-do-wells and nefarious deeds". 

Formed in 1973 London, the band Free had just broken up, and two of its members Simon Kirke and Paul Rodgers, with Mick Ralphs and Boz Burrell, created rock band Bad Company.

Bad Co's debut self-titled album rocketed to Top 5, as did 1975's Straight Shooter and Run With The Pack the next year, producing massive hits like "Feel Like Makin Love", "Shooting Star", "Ready for Love", "Rock n Roll Fantasy" & more.
