After Neil Young released a synth album, his label Geffin Records requested a more traditional “rock n roll” album, so he released 1983’s “Everybody’s Rockin'” — a major departure from his previous sounds but still Rock n Roll. Geffen sued him for being “not commercial” (and lost).
