This design reads "In The Pines" and features a starry sky surrounded by dark pine trees, with Lead Belly's signature at the bottom.

Sometimes it was called "In The Pines", sometimes it was called "Where did you Sleep Last Night?" though it didn't start out as Lead Belly's song -- it was a folk tune played & shared between people for generations.

But "In The Pines" would forever become attributed to Ledbetter after he recorded a stunning version for Musicraft Records in February, 1944.

Almost fifty years later, the song would again surge to popularity after Kurt Cobain on MTV Unplugged shared that Lead Belly was Nirvanna's favorite artist, followed by an otherworldly, ground-shaking cover of In The Pines
