St. Louis has a deep crate-digging culture—from the historic Soulard and Benton Park neighborhoods to the Delmar Loop’s music landmarks and Cherokee Street’s digger haunts!
A lot of our employees are from STL and with our factory right down the road, we’ve been digging St. Louis vinyl record crates for decades now! You can even find authentic Bluescentric band shirts and merchandise in some of these esteemed stores! So we wrote a handy guide to our favorite record stores in Saint Louis.
Use this guide to plan a single-day loop, or pick one area at a time.

Vintage Vinyl
Why go: Long-running STL institution with a massive new/used selection on the Delmar Loop. After you shop, pop next door to Blueberry Hill—it’s packed with music memorabilia, and the downstairs Duck Room famously hosted Chuck Berry’s long residency. Two major venues are steps away: The Pageant and Delmar Hall. The St. Louis Walk of Fame stars line the sidewalks out front—this stretch of Delmar is a true music corridor.

Euclid Records

Where: Webster Groves (Old Webster). Two floors, broad genre coverage, strong new & used selection, and a well-known mail-order operation. Sister store in New Orleans! The entire upstairs houses one of the biggest jazz vinyl selections you’ll ever see.

Dead Wax Records
Where: Cherokee Street. Curated bins with heavy love for jazz/rock/blues/soul; buys collections; Discogs presence. Cozy shop with a tight, quality selection—and Cherokee is a great Benton Park corridor for shopping, coffee, and people-watching.

Planet Score Records
Where: Maplewood (Manchester Rd). Friendly, eclectic selection spanning garage/psych to jazz; buys CDs, vinyl, and tapes.

Before you go: make time for a few St. Louis essentials. The National Blues Museum anchors the lively Washington Avenue entertainment district with interactive exhibits on America’s greatest music. Swing by Blues City Deli in Benton Park for a classic sandwich and frequent live blues, and don’t miss BB’s Jazz, Blues & Soups by the stadium—an intimate room that’s hosted countless legends.
