Tom Petty ‘accidentally’ became a Traveling Wilbury when the group gathered to record their first single, and George Harrison stopped by Petty’s house to retrieve a guitar and asked Tom to sit in.

After selling Sun Records, Sam Phillips was the first investor in a small local motel with big plans to develop a chain of hotels, called Holiday Inn.
