Foreigner Band History

Foreigner formed in New York City in 1976, founded by guitarist Mick Jones with vocalist Lou Gramm among the band’s original members. The group became one of the defining arena-rock acts of the late 1970s and 1980s with hits including “Cold as Ice,” “Hot Blooded,” “Juke Box Hero” and “I Want to Know What Love Is.”
