The Allman Brothers’ quintessential album “Eat A Peach” is “Dedicated to a brother” — Duane Allman, who died in a motorcycle accident while the album was still being recorded.

According to the Kurt Cobain biography “Heavier than Heaven” by Charles Cross, Cobain was inspired to name his band “Nirvana” after watching a documentary on Buddhism.
