Pete Best, the original drummer for the Beatles (who was fired a month before the band’s worldwide fame) released a 1965 album called “Best of the Beatles” which contained no Beatles music. A consumer fraud investigation had to be dropped, since Best had been, indeed, “of The Beatles”.

Actor Dennis Quaid portrayed pianist Jerry Lee Lewis in the 1989 biopic “Great Balls of Fire!”, named for the artist’s biggest hit.
