The Disco Ball was first patented in 1917 and became popular in the Roaring 20s. Pink Floyd created one of (if not) the largest disco balls in the world for their 1994 tour, at 16′ in diameter.

As RIAA record certifications go, AC/DC’s 1980 “Back In Black” is off the charts — At 50 million copies sold, it would be the equivalent of 100x Gold Records, or 50x Platinum Records, or 10x Diamond.
