In 1996, Chuck Berry began a residency in his Saint Louis hometown that lasted 209 shows at a restaurant called Blueberry Hill. The restaurant’s underground music venue where Berry played, The Duck Room, was named after the artist’s trademark Duck Walk.

Both albums, “King Curtis Live At Fillmore West” and “Aretha Franklin Live At Fillmore West” were recorded on the same dates, March 5th, 6th and 7th, 1971 with the same backing band — King Curtis’ The Kingpins and The Memphis Horns.
