Blues Guitarist B.B. King’s hometown of Indianola, Mississippi founded the BB King Homecoming Festival in 1980, bringing the artist back home every year, and continuing the tradition after his 2015 death.

Curiously, Big Brother and the Holding Company’s album “Cheap Thrills” was “Approved by the Hells Angels” on the cover — early on, the biker gang were benefactors and provided many gigs for the band.
