When recording the 1980 STAR WARS CHRISTMAS ALBUM, producers needed a fresh vocal for a song, so with low time and few options, they asked the 17 year old kid sweeping floors. Thus, John Bon Jovi’s first credited recording was singing “R2-D2 We Wish You a Merry Christmas.”

Full Circle! In 1968, David Bowie wrote English lyrics for a French song called “”Comme d’habitude”, which the French rejected because Bowie was an unknown. Songwriter Paul Anka soon re-wrote the song, and Frank Sinatra released it as “My Way”. In turn, Bowie re-re-wrote the lyrics in 1970 as “Life On Mars?” and had his own huge hit.
