Full Circle! In 1968, David Bowie wrote English lyrics for a French song called “”Comme d’habitude”, which the French rejected because Bowie was an unknown. Songwriter Paul Anka soon re-wrote the song, and Frank Sinatra released it as “My Way”. In turn, Bowie re-re-wrote the lyrics in 1970 as “Life On Mars?” and had his own huge hit.

Guns N’ Roses’ albums “Use your Illusion” (I and II) both had a message in the Thank You notes reading “F*** You, St. Louis!” in reference to Axl Rose tackling a picture-taker, storming off set, and setting off the infamous Riverport Riot.
