The Rolling Stones’ longtime saxophonist Bobby Keys was Buddy Holly’s neighbor growing up in Lubbock, Texas. His first tour was with Holly when he was just 15.

In 1998, Aretha Franklin returned to the Top 40 chart with the Lauryn Hill-produced song “A Rose Is Still a Rose”.
