Jimi hendrix’s song “Ezy Rider” was inspired by the massively influential 1969 film Easy Rider starring Peter Fonda and Denis Hopper as a pair of ‘outlaw’ bikers riding across USA on custom motorcycles.

In a curious pairing, George Clinton of Parliament Funkadelic was supposed to do the soundtrack to the hit movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind, which, according to G.C., “did not go so well…”
