Before finding success at Chess Records, Muddy Waters, Little Walter and Jimmy Rogers used to be known as “The Headhunters”, and would crash other musician’s gigs to showcase how much better they were.

In a now-infamous moment, TV personality Pat Boone attempted to interview Pink Floyd founder Syd Barrett on live TV after a performance, which Barrett responded with a “blank and totally mute stare”. According to drummer Nick Mason, “Syd wasn’t into moving his lips that day.” It contributed to his departure from the band.
