In a now-infamous moment, TV personality Pat Boone attempted to interview Pink Floyd founder Syd Barrett on live TV after a performance, which Barrett responded with a “blank and totally mute stare”. According to drummer Nick Mason, “Syd wasn’t into moving his lips that day.” It contributed to his departure from the band.

Jazz saxophonist Cannonball Adderly and jazz trumpeter Nat Adderly were brothers.
