Levon Helm’s first musical endeavor post-The Band was to form a short-lived musical group called The RCO All-Stars, which included Dr. John, Booker T Jones, Chuck Berry, Paul Butterfield, and the Stax / Blues Brothers’ members Steve Cropper, Duck Dunn, Tom Malone Lou Marini and Alan Rubin… among others.

Jim Dickinson, father of The North Mississippi Allstars’ Luther and Cody Dickinson, played the piano on The Rolling Stones’ “Wild Horses”
