The cover of David Bowie’s “Aladdin Sane” was the most expensive album cover ever produced at the time — partly an effort by Bowie’s manager to ensure the studio would be motivated to promote the album.

John Mayall gave his bandmate Peter Green some free studio time at Decca Studios on April 19, 1967, which lead to the forming of Fleetwood Mac.
