After Grateful Dead percussionists Bill Kreutzmann and Phil Lesh invented a special drumset while recording the soundtrack to “APOCALYPSE NOW”, they integrated the set into The Grateful Dead’s live show.

John Mayall gave his bandmate Peter Green some free studio time at Decca Studios on April 19, 1967, which lead to the forming of Fleetwood Mac.
