London-based art design house Hipgnosis created some of the most iconic album covers in history for Pink Floyd, Bad Company, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Genesis, Peter Gabriel, ELO, AC/DC, Humble Pie, and even a book cover for Douglas Adams’ The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.

The Rolling Stones’ sax player Bobby Keys, Outlaw Country legend Waylon Jennings, and Rock & Roll originator Buddy Holly all lived in the same neighborhood in Lubbock, Texas & were friends before each was famous. Jennings & Keys both played with Holly’s backing band The Crickets (though Keys did after Holly’s death).
